Front Runner Slimline II Truck Bed Platform Rack Installation - 2013 Ram 2500- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we've got my 2013 Ram 2500 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Front Runner Slimline II Bed Rack. Front Runner makes a lot of racks that will mount to the top of your vehicle that you can see up here on top of my truck. A lot of people don't like to permanently mount their racks to the roof because they just use it during the summer or for a few trips a year. That's when this bed rack's gonna come in handy is you can mount the rails to the side rails of your truck and then if you take the bolts out you can slide this rack off and it's as if it was never there. The benefit of having this type of rack over top of your bed is so that if you ever run out of space when you're going on a long extended camping trip or if you like to go overlanding, you can load your bed up with stuff pretty quickly. more

Malone CrossBed Truck Bed Rack Installation - 2013 Ram 2500- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Malone Crossbed Truck Bed Rack. It's gonna be a good solution to mount up some accessories over your bed, especially if you don't want it to be super up tall, like a tent or a bike rack where it's easier to reach, while still leaving your bed below accessible. And we're gonna be showing you how to install it on your 2013 RAM 2500. So the big thing you probably notice right away, is it's pretty low profile, from the bedrail to the top of the crossbar here, only adding about eight inches. So this isn't gonna be a ladder rack, it's not gonna be for your elongated loads of two by fours, conduit, ladders, even kayaks I wouldn't put on here because they probably just won't fit. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima OverHaul HD Ladder Rack Adjustable System on our 2022 Ram 2500. You do have a pretty big bed on the 2500 here but if you're looking to transport some items that are maybe just a little bit too long like ladders, lumber, maybe even a couple kayaks, a ladder rack like this is gonna let you do that. This ladder rack is very versatile. It's able to support up to 500 pounds. It's also rated for off-road use but it will drop that weight rating down to 300 pounds and you can adjust the height according to what you need. more

Erickson Ladder Racks Review - 2019 Ram 2500- Video
Hey guys. John here from etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the Erickson ladder rack on our 2019 Ram 2,500. A ladder rack is a great way to get some larger cargo to our destination. Whether it's loading up a ladder like this to get to our job site, or maybe a kayak or a canoe, something that's not going to fit in our bed quite right, or maybe we just need to utilize our entire truck bed for other cargo and something like this will help get some extra cargo up above our bed.Our ladder rack has an 800 pound weight capacity and also has an aluminum construction, so it is nice and sturdy for that weight capacity, but the aluminum construction means we don't have to worry about rust or anything like that. It's going to be able to hold up to the elements really well. more

John: Hey guys, John here for etrailer.com. Today we have our 2019 Ram 2500 and we're going to be taking a look at the buyer's products, black aluminum ladder rack. This is a great way to get some larger cargo or just extra cargo to our job site or to our destination. And it puts it up above our bed. So it gives us more room to put stuff in our bed and on top plus with longer cargo, like our ladder, we have up here at the top. We can push it forward a little bit so it hangs over our cab. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule TracRac rack on our 2019 Ram 2500.So this ladder rack system is going to be ideal for you guys who just got a big old truck and you guys plan to use it. Whether you're maybe just putting up a ladder or some 2X4s, maybe some equipment for the construction site. Whatever it may be, I do think we're going to have a lot of use out of this and we're just going to be able to also put a bunch of different attachments. So even if you're not really the worker type, you just have a bunch of outdoorsy stuff you want to get to and from, this is going to allow you to maximize your truck. It's definitely a plus just because it'll just go onto your rails of the truck and the cool thing about it is just the fact that we will be able to get about 800 pounds of weight capacity up on top of here, but we still have all the room to use our truck just as if we didn't have the ladder rack installed.So we do have two different colors. more

TracRac TracONE Ladder Racks Review - 2017 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 RAM 2500 we're doing a test fit of the Track Rack Track One Truck Bed Ladder Rack. That part number is TA27000-01. Now we already have our ladder rack in place. We've got most of it secured down, we're going to show you how to do the back corner but first we're going to go over some features. You can see these are a nice aerodynamic shape, they're going to allow you to carry any accessories on your truck bed and still give you access to your truck bed area to carry more gear. One thing to keep in mind is that we do have this bed liner on here so we don't have to worry about making any scratches or abrasions. more

TracRac TracONE Ladder Racks Review - 2016 Ram 2500- Video
Today on this 2016 Ram 2500, we're going to be test fitting the TracRac TracOne truck bed ladder rack, part number TA27000-01. This ladder rack has a carrying capacity of 800 pounds. You can carry anything from ladders to timber to conduit pipe, whatever your need to put up there. It has these tie-down points, which are movable along the length of the rack, and the rack itself . these arms, they are adjustable to move in or out to accommodate different truck bed widths. We have all of them attached right now. I'm going to go ahead and show you how the last one goes on. Move this, so you can actually see it. Now, this bed has an actual regular bed liner. more

Today on this 2016 Ram 2500, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number TH500XT. This has a carrying capacity of 450 pounds. You can carry anything from ladders to lumber to conduit pipe. It also has tie-downs at the other end, which are adjustable to the length of the rack itself, and it also can be adjustable inward to accommodate different truck bed widths. We have all of them fastened down for now. We'll go ahead and show you how the last 2 go up. It's going to be using these clamps. I'm going to put that up just a little bit, and then we're going to place our metal bracket here on top like so. more

Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2014 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 2500 we're installing the Thule Xsporter Pro. This is an adjustable height ladder rack featuring the load stops, has a 450 pound weight capacity, and the part number is TH500XT. A really great feature of the Xsporter II is the adjustable height. Inside here it says 29, 28, 27, all the way down to 01. These are designed so you can get each side even with each other. To adjust it we're going to loosen the black knob. more
